1. To refund a payment that has been submitted through FamilyID/PayPal, you'll first want to locate the registration in FamilyID.

2. Once located, choose the down-arrow next to 'VIEW' on the registration and select 'PAYMENTS'.


3. Choose the green 'REFUND ONLINE PAYMENT' button.


4. Input the amount you'd like to refund and choose 'REFUND'.


5. A full refund will cancel the registration and update the payment status as 'REFUNDED'. A partial refund will update the payment status as 'PARTIAL REFUND' but will not cancel the registration.

6. An email indicating that the refund has occurred will then be sent to the family as well as your organization's 'notification email address'.
